Classic Lookbook Dressed À La Mode For The Afterpay Australian Fashion Week
Just when we thought we got a taste of everything, we were reminded of the art that lies in fashion. Designers waited long enough for the moment to arrive. And now, when it was finally here, they swiftly got up to reflect upon their inspiration and own thoughts in the role of artwork. With timeless chic catalogs, the designers gathered on the site with their ultra-modern and well-known labels to become the muse of the event.
One Mile
The online brand of Sammy Robinson finally made its debut in the fashion week. At Beta Restaurant in Sydney’s CBD, One Mile filled the runway’s essence with greens and ocean blues in sundresses and skirts. Plus, the pair of leather corsets and pants elevated the beach aesthetics and the brand’s identity.

TORANNCE
Whirling with the 70s melodies, Torannce favored the era’s fashion in a picturesque style. Maxis and florals are the worlds of the season. So for the show, the label took every ounce very seriously and catered to us the iconic silhouettes of leather minis and floral dresses. Besides that, the must-boot walked us towards a wholemeal selection with broad hats and classy aviators.

Anna Antal
Inspired by the 60s and 70s generation, the collection of Anna Antal was fiery and heavenly. This label of Michelle Tucker is named after her Hungarian grandmother and is noteworthy for the mid-century prints. The show was a beautiful and styled experience of bright colors laying pink, green, and orange compositions in excellent patterns.

All Is A Gentle Spring
The label name alone builds up the eagerness to know what this is about. The All Is A Gentle Spring is a newborn label acknowledged for the girdles. The collection was uncovered at Balmain’s Art Deco Town Hall, introducing the clothing that was a mix of magnetism. Label’s designer, Isabelle Hellyer, attracted quite the eyes with the phenomenal corsets.

Henne
The Henne show was a cool-headed, suited collection inspired by the laddish features. Nadia Bartel’s brand Henne delivered a collection made for “her” and can be worn at any place of one’s wish and undoubtedly with one’s own styling statement. Spotted there were cut-out tops, leather pants, and dresses, feeling the pastels of spring and the coldness of the black palette.

L’IDEE Woman
The concept behind the brand’s collection is intrinsic to convey a message that attaches to the pieces a label is disclosing. L’IDEE Woman proved they correctly hold the skills of understanding the female form. Unfolding the fabrics in the center light played its part in the collection and shined the outfits L’IDEE had to offer. The classic illumination was seen in the colors when the designs were brought up.
Dropping one by one like a bombshell, the labels were indeed a masterpiece that we won’t be able to get over anytime soon. The fabrics, colors, prints, and styles were altogether a poetic overflow of passion and emotions set forth on the scenery of appeasing spirit.
